Missions

The Rock is excited to partner with missionaries who are doing gospel-centered ministry all over the world. Jesus commissioned His followers to "go and make disciples of all nations." Supporting and sending missionaries is critical to obedience to the great commission. Scripture is replete with exhortations to help those who are doing the work of spreading the gospel. Paul often received help from churches as he spread the gospel to the Gentiles. In Philippians 4:17, Paul says he welcomes the church's support because it "increases to [their] credit." In verse 18, he calls their gifts a "sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God." Accordingly, we believe that our support of global missionaries is an acceptable and pleasing sacrifice in the eyes of God. As faithful stewards of God's resources, supporting missionaries is a wise investment in the growth of the kingdom of God.

"Eagles Nest Ministries is a Christian organization that spreads the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Education, Healthcare, and Bible teaching programs. With your help we are able to educate children who would not be able to have access to an education. We will be able to construct community places of worship and community centers in villages all over Uganda, and provide basic health care to an impoverished population.

Our work has transformed the lives of many families by widening employment opportunities for young people, providing churches in remote areas in the country, and saving the lives of many poor Ugandans.
