Beginning first in our backyard, then moving into the larger community, state, nation, and world, we seek to obey God's commandment to demonstrate the love of Christ & share the gospel message of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The Rock is excited to partner with missionaries who are doing gospel-centered ministry all over the world. Jesus commissioned His followers to "go and make disciples of all nations." Supporting and sending missionaries is critical to obedience to the great commission. Scripture is replete with exhortations to help those who are doing the work of spreading the gospel. Paul often received help from churches as he spread the gospel to the Gentiles. In Philippians 4:17, Paul says he welcomes the church's support because it "increases to [their] credit." In verse 18, he calls their gifts a "sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God." Accordingly, we believe that our support of global missionaries is an acceptable and pleasing sacrifice in the eyes of God. As faithful stewards of God's resources, supporting missionaries is a wise investment in the growth of the kingdom of God.

Since 2013, the Copes have been serving in the Middle East. They are focused on bringing God's love to the Arab people. Their vision is to multiply disciples and churches throughout the region, and for Arab workers to be sent out to reach their own people. They lead a team of both Westerners and Arabs, reaching out to both local and refugee populations with the hope of seeing many more laborers raised up for the harvest fields that will lead to an exponential growth of the Arab church.
